As society begins to crumble, the unlikely duo of a thief and a young mortician find themselves pairing together as a means of surviving.Season one of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series essentially told a slightly different version of the story from the movie – in which nearly everyone died – in order to keep Seth and Richie Gekko alive. An airborne contaminant was causing the dead to rise. The swarming city of Shreveport, LA was witnessing the end of the world as they all knew it. Could the end of this shit show really be all that bad? Now add on spiraling without his brother. He was aimlessly lost, somehow still managing to survive every ghastly thing life had thrown him. His lifestyle choices felt like they were coming back as a reckoning. Insert Seth Gecko, President of the Hellhounds motorcycle club. A body rising from the dead had been stories whispered around campfires to ignite fear not something that happened… Wasn’t it? That was until she was staring death in the eyes as it defied all directives of human nature. With the passing of her mother, the young woman was trying to navigate life during grief.
Despite what was viewed as a macabre profession, something about caring for the deceased gave her a sense of peace. Kate Fuller is a mortician working under her family’s funeral home business.
